  • Caribbean Plunder Cruise Check-In and Highlights

Well TBN's Caribbean Plunder Cruise has returned to New Orleans after a week-long ADVENTURE with friends.
This will be the thread where cruise members will share their experiences and some of their favorite photos. More photos from the cruise will be added to a special Caribbean Plunder Gallery that Margaret has set up in the General Events Gallery. Give us a day or so to sort out our pics and collect our thoughts.
Bonnie and I hope everyone had a great time and hope everyone on the cruise will share their memories here.

Below is one of my favorite photos taken from our Carnival balcony in Grand Cayman Bay. The Carnival "Magic" is in the background. More pictures to come soon.

See some really great pictures in the CARIBBEAN PLUNDER, EVENTS GALLERY

It was a great adventure for sure. Thanks to Roger and Bonnie for making the arrangements.

The Mary's, Wes, and Linda are off. Lou, Roger, Sharon, and I are all still waiting at the airport for our flight.

We just walked through the door. Emma started to unpack as soon as we got home. Here is a record for this week, we have gone 7 hours without eating a meal, snacks, afternoon tea, fruit, etc....

Thank you to all for a great week, especially Bonnie & Roger for putting the cruise together.

We arrived home this afternoon about 3:15 P.M. Paul Thomas (2K2BIRD) chauffeured me in our car while Rosetta (Ms2K2bird) chauffeured Margaret in their car.

The highlight of our departure day was me being informed that I was the unknown father of another daughter. Hearing this, I just about turned my wheelchair over. Thanks goodness I had an excellent handler. She did her job by the book.

By the way, the medical facilities on the Carnival Conquest are first rate.

Thanks to Roger and Bonnie for a different and fantastic TBN cruise.

We made it to Pine Bluff, Arkansas before we called it for the day. We are tired but had a great time on our first cruise thanks to our friends (old and new) we had the pleasure of spending the week with.

Special thanks to Bonnie & Roger for being great hosts before and during the cruise. Nothing beats their hospitality, that's for sure.

We were glad to get Sir Charles & Ms Mitchell home to Rio without any side trips to the ER or anything, even if I got a new father-in-law out of the deal. I did pull a DavidA and had to do one u-turn. Oh well, it seems like a tradition that will be around awhile.

We should make it on home relatively early tomorrow after 12 days of fun, fun, fun. Where would we have been over these days if we weren't TBN members? I don't know and I'm glad I never will !!

Just arrived home, where did the time go and where did my energy from the first night go? This cruiser is pooped.

              More tomorrow,

Sharon and I landed in Minneapolis at 8:30PM. Gathered up the luggage and returned home by 9:30. Been away from this computer so long I can't hardly type.

We had a great time and want to thank Roger & Bonnie for setting this trip up.

Going to get to bed early tonight, work tomorrow

Got home around 10:00. Wow what a great trip. Our first cruise and thanks sooooooo
much to Bonnie and Roger for setting this up. It doesn't get any better than that. Your first cruise and sharing it with our TBN family members. Our schedule consisted of exercising in the morning for 40 minutes and then eating for 8 hours. The one day that we ate at the chocolate bar and had dessert first and then dinner latter (bunny lou) was really on a sugar high. That night I had dreams of counting little bunnies jumping over a fence
instead of goats like David and Roger. Bunny Lou

Wanted to thank Bonnie and Roger for putting together a wonderful TBN event that I will always remember. Good friends, good food, and lots of fun.

I also want to thank everyone for all the help and "baby sitting" the last day. I do not think I could have taken care of Charlie without you.

I will post some pic in the Gallery some time today.

Re: Caribbean Plunder Cruise Check-In and Highlights

We made it on home today. Lots of things to catch up on so it may take a day or so before we can get any pictures posted.

It is a shame that event as much fun as the cruise had to come to an end when we were having so much fun. But, guess what? We are already getting excited about the next one!
