    2012 Ridler

    Must have been a weak year for the Ridler competition, or maybe the pics don't do the subject fair justice...
    And please, oh please, tell me they didn't desecrate it with a junk motor.

    Folks from our local club said the photos don't due the car justice . . . it's beautiful!

        I'll stick with the stock look, although this car will get more attention.

          This show is only customs and street rods. Contenders for the Ridler Award must be full customs that have never been shown before. Of course, from this win the owner and his sons will have many show invitations.

            The recent issue of Vette magazine had an article on the owners of a Vette rod. Have also seen one or two such rods in person, at a couple of reletively local car shows. Something like a 1961 with a modern motor and suspension. While these bastardized cars look legit, ...well... let's just say that I've always been a stickler for OEM. But yes, a beautiful piece of art-work nonetheless.
