Recently I was reading a thread where someone asked about whether he should darken his tail lights or not. (Could have been doing a search on this site for some other reason and came across that thread but couldn't find it in a search of recent threads).
Yesterday, While in town for some shopping with George, we saw a new Black Mustang that had blackened the whole rear tail light section. Can not understand why anyone is willing to drive a car at night or during the day with their tail lights covered as dark as these were so took a photo of the car while it was stopped at a light. I would bet that at night the tail lights show even less with just their lights on, and not stepping on the brakes.
So, notice the vehicle in front of us and the brightness of their tail light, then notice the redlight's brightness, then notice the dim tail lights on the stopped Mustang.
