First off I would like to thank the Birdsnest members for giving me such a warm welcome. I have been a member of several automotive forums and none have been as polite as the members here. Alot of the other forums are completely full of negative sarcasm and condesending comments. Thank you all!
As some of you know, I dont own a Bird yet, but I am actively looking to purchase one. I am currently the proud owner of a 2002 V8 Lincoln LSE and a 2000 V8 Lincoln LS Sport which share the DEW98 chassis.
Secondly, I have developed a heatshield that will fit on the 2002 Thunderbirds and I am selling these on Ebay for $55 shipped. I would like to offer these to members of the 'Birds Nest for $40 shipped. I origionally developed these for the 00-02 Lincoln LS's with the same intake configuration as the 02 T-Bird. I am new to the T-Bird community and do not know which other years of T-Birds have the same intake configuration as the '02, any help from fellow members about this would be greatly appreciated
I have heatshields for the factory black plastic intake tube and the LSK/ASMI polished aluminum intake tube. All you need is a MAF adapter and cone filter, If you have the KKM intake kit you have everything you need.
