Many of us who drive our cars alot are going to be replacing our tops in the next year or so. Wife and I were talking over weekend and wondering how critical color is. Some cars came with a couple choices and some like our PCR did not. We think the lite sand would look good with the Monterey Mist, but are concerned if it would effect value much, even tho' we have no plans to ever sell. I think the sand would show dort and wear much less than the Ash Grey

Re: New Top
I don't think there is much difference in the Sand or Ash as far as wear or staining,Originally posted by Rondor View PostMany of us who drive our cars alot are going to be replacing our tops in the next year or so. Re: New Top
Ash grey about the same, but black in Fl is SOOOOO hotOriginally posted by Elijahbird7 View PostIf you are worried about the top looking good without black marks or staining, I would definitely recommend staying away from the sand top. I switched my sand to a merlot top for just that reason.

nm, I was not thinking soft top when I read the the posts. Well, in any event, the link is still great to see how mix and match body/top colors appear.Charles
