Whitewalls or Blackwalls???

About to get new tires for my 2002 Whisper White.

Thinking of whitewalls, wifey says that whitewalls would not look good on the white vehicle.

Anyone got ww on white vehicle.

Opinions needed.

How about red lines if you want color? Other than that I think black would be my choice.Good luck!

I'd stick w/blackwalls. I love WWs on most cars from the 1950s-1970s (redlines on Vettes, and most muscle cars) but on newer cars they just don't seem right-in my opinion.

Even though I don't have them on Texasbird, I love the look of WW's on the retrobirds.

What you need to decide on is what you want, not what everyone else thinks! I personally think these cars scream for whitewalls with certain colors, including white

I agree, Mike. If your car has red accents, a set of redlines would also be sharp.

I have full red accent in my WW and red pinstrips on the side of my car. The wide whitewalls look FANTASTIC on a WW Bird. Best investment I have made for the car. I would never go back to blackwall tires again.

I was looking for a picture of Lee's car to post to this site but don't have one. Lee, you don't have a gallery!! Maybe you could post a picture on this thread. Lee has done an awesome job with his Whisper White and the white walls were the perfect finish. His car has been "nothing but trophy" since it came on the scene.
And then, as you can see there is Ray's bird. I have yet to see it in person but the pictures take my breath away.
I am looking forward to the day I put the white walls on my Ice Blue. I've been complimenting it with white as much as I can and I think the white walls will cary the white accross & down and balance the colors perfectly. If I had my drothers I would even put in a 007 white interior instead of my partial white interior. But that is a dream for another time. I think I must like white.
