The Beach Boys song keep calling us. Especially given the line "Seems she forgot about the library like she told her old man now" and my wife is a librarian. So our Va plates when got the bird are (see my avatar)

As you can tell by screen name I'm a Florida Gator, but my wife is a FSU Seminole. On the weekend we were married on 1977 the Noles beat the Gator in "The Game", so I tell folks I lost the game, lost the bet (so she got to pick the plates), but I won my gal. Makes for interesting comments from folks. One guy said the car was going to blow up, because FSU and Gator fans just can't coexist. But it works for us, and makes for a great football season.

Since I'm a fellow Illinoian and "Fighting Illini" fan, I think you have it right, Karyl. His plate reads: IL BIRD, which stands for Illini Bird or Illinois Bird and not Sick Bird.

There were some sort of HTML tags in my original post which should not have been there. It's "Illini Bird" and the plate reads "IL Bird." I was trying to say this didn't stand for a sick (ill) bird.
