Build Date

I know similiar threads have been created, but I can't find them. I want to know what day my bird was built. Does someone have the information? MY VIN is:1FAHP60A33Y113916

I beleive it's on the label/tag on the inside of the driver's door.
My workshop manual shows the vin number to only give a description of the car, exp. (manufacturer, restraint code, line/series, engine code, vin check digit, model year, assembly plant, & production sequence number).

My car is confused on its build date. The door sticker says 06/01 but a Ford Oasis report states 08/01 (forgot the day). Being one of the original cars that went through the several factory holds led up to this date confusion. Yes the car was built in June, but with the holds and modifications the offical build date was when the last modification was done and it was ready for shipment. Of course it was then shipped back to the factory after arriving in town for the hydraulic fan motor update. DavidA's car went through the same trama. I bet his build date on the door sticker also will not jive with the build date on an Oasis report from a Ford dealer.

Vehicle Born on date was 06/16/2003. Its in service date was 09/27/2003. Also no recalls as of today.

I'll look it up Monday Tim. That really isn't the consecutive build number you know - since your VIN is under 9960 the consecutive build number is the four digit number above the VIN on the left front fender.

My Bird's build date is on every service ticket from my dealer...April 22, 2002

Tim your Build date is Jan 10th 2003 the in service date was June 21st 2003 with 41 miles at the time of delivery. Also no recalls as of today.

You can get the Build Date & In Service Date from any dealer. Have them run Oasis off your Vin Number. Oasis gives the dealership the information it needs on your vehicle ie Engine Axle Transmission ESP coverage and most important Recall's. Every dealer is to run anytime you bring your FM & L in for service.
