Spotted a Merlot on A1A in Daytona Beach at 11:00 this morning. Met a Torch Red going north on I-95 this morning at 11:41. Pulling into Hillsboro Beach we saw an IY parked at a condo on the beach at 3:02 this afternoon.
A big thank-you to Gene for his help. The pair was at Food Lion, Rams Plaza, Chapel Hill earlier this week. The silver is an '05, the other is unknown to me. Needs a wash & a few more bumper stickers to make it really pretty. ---Will
Saw what looks like a black on black this morning at Macland Road and Barrett Parkway. Dark outside but that is the color my eyes relayed to my brainn.
Honor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.
I'm not sure if this counts as a sighting but yesterday I was getting into my Black '05 and a couple asked me about my car. What made it seem like a sighting was they told me they just bought a Black '03 from Jones Ford here in Charleston. I know the people at Jones Ford so I asked them some questions too. The car they purchased had 61,000 miles on it and had the hardtop and stand. They had the dealer install the hardtop so they could drive the car home. So far, so good. The car needed a new battery which Jones Ford installed. But as soon as the next day, the battery was dead. It is now back at the dealer where they are troubleshooting. I mentioned thunderbirdnest.com to them and how helpful our membership can be. Got their names and phone numbers and promised to stay in touch. New members? Maybe.
Spotted a Desert Sky Blue ( hard top on) going NW on W Grand Ave in Suprise, AZ. I was on N Litchfield Rd waiting on red light to get on Grand Ave. Light was too long to catch up or see where the car was going.
Another one today and this one was at the base exchange of Dobbins Air Reserve Base. A WW with a partial white interior. Looked like a 2003, oddly it had a "Special Edition" emblem on one of its front fenders. I searched through the "port hole authority" and cannot locate that model. It definitely from what I saw Not the cashmere color as I thought that was more of a metallic color.

If the seats were black and white then it was a 2003, if the seats were all white then it was the 2005 cashmere.

If it had a "Special Editon" emblem on it, that was an add-on done by an owner. Sounds like an 03 with the partial white interior.
