There are some great roads in this area. Two you will not want to miss are the Tail of the Dragon and the Cherohalla Skyway.

No Problem.

We "took" the Tail of the Dragon. We did not see any Tbirds in Knoxville.
We are now in Nashville. Then Memphis, Jackson and New Orleans. Hope to see someone Tbirds there.

Saw a 2002 blue just like mine going in the opposite direction this morning in Blairsville, Ga. as we were cruising down Hwy 76.

On our trip to New Orleans, we stopped for gas in Longview TX. The cashier comes out and asks about the car. After I told him about it, he points across the road and says the man who lives there has a Third. He says it belonged to the man's wife who passed away and it rarely gets driven. He said it looks like new. I told him if the guy decides to sell it, check with the Nest to see if anyone is interested. So we did not see it, but it was there.

Today at 2:15 EST, northbound on PA 315, Wilkes Barre, red bird with black soft top up. This was not far from PA 309

Tppk the 56 T-Bird for a oil change and the shop had a black 03 getting a oil change. Talked to the owner (he wanted to trade) he was getting it ready to put away for the winter.

Today was one of the days I go to the Fitness center in Decatur. Always drive the 02. When I was finished and went out to the parking lot, spotted a RED 05 a few spots away. Took several pics. It had a TBN grill badge! Don't know whose it is or if it was one that someone bought 2nd hand. Hope to see it again and find out whose it is.

Few weeks back I spotted a vmg with a merlot hardtop on northbound I75 around exit 50. Thought it was strange. Also driver had the gas cap dangling. I tried to get his attn. but don't think I was successful.

Spotted 2 different red ones recently:
Oct 25th up on The Dragon, Dela's Gap, NC. Talked a bit to the driver who was having a blast on one of the top 10 roads in N America. Saw it parked at the Tapoco Lodge later and took the pic.

Then a 2005 Red Anniversary was at Atlanta's Caffeine and Cars on Nov 5th. Owner had just bought it, was very happy and we spent some time pointing out the differences between my 2002 and his 2005; which were both on display at the car show. (I was parked next to a 59 Vette :)

So...my thumbnails show 3 different torch Red T-Birds, all seen a few weeks ago, ha...nice.
