Well, I am finishing up a week long vacation in Las Vegas and at the McCarrin Airport and I spy a 1956 Red Thunderbird on display in the terminal. Upon closer inspection, I find the vintage Tbird equiped as a fire truck. As the display reader boards indicated, theTbird was used for several years as a chase vehicle at the airport. Very interesting. A nice looking vehicle in a rather odd setting, equipped with fire extinguishers and other fire fighting paraphernalia!
