  • What Color Am I?

I'm looking for touchup paint for car and my door panel states "D3". I have a 2004 T-Bird, but I've checked various sites on the web and I get some saying "Torch Red" and some say "Colorado Red", for the same year. Which is it?

Paint supply shop here in Coeur D Alene, Idaho makes up spray cans or bottled touch up to original factory specs and colors. i would imagine since this is a small town that a shop that body shops goes to in your town should be able to do the same. If you have trouble PM me and I will go and have a can made up for you to mail out.

Also torch red was used on the S 197 Mustang circa 2006

If you're not near a paint supply house you can get Dupli-Color Colorado Red D-3 at any of these fine retailers.

Be careful when ordering online touch up paint. Color match is good but usually it needs clear coat on top of the color coat. Suggestion to go to automotive paint supply place is great. We have a couple here in town and they make up touch up or spray cans with clear coat in it. Worth the price of about $20.+ per can of spray.

Well...it might not be actual clear coat in it but it has a gloss finish vs. flat that needs clear coat to make the color "pop". Have painted several die-casts with spray can paint made at auto paint stores plus wheel trim rings on our MSB and it shines just the car finish.
