Golf is bad for your health!

Just mentioned to wife that I can't wait to swing the Golf club again.

She reminded me that the last two trips to the golf course have resulted in (1.) blowing out knee and still using a cane after 2+ months and (2.) time before I totaled my beloved Saab.

Bob told his wife he and his best friend, Steve, were going to play golf, but would be back by 2. 3, 4, 5, and finally 6 o'clock rolls around with the wife getting angrier and angrier. Bob walks in the door and said,"I'm sorry, but it was just bad luck, Steve dropped dead at the first hole". The wife said, "oh, how terrible". Bob said, "I'll say, it was hit the ball, drag Steve, hit the ball, drag Steve, for for the entire time.
It could have been worse, Bill!

My favorite is the newly wed whose new bride insists on accompanying him on the round of golf. First shot right behind a barn.

Caddy says, no problem . I'll Open the barn doors on each side and you hit through the barn right to the green.

Caddy opens doors, guy hits the shot of his life but hits the barn beam. Bounces back, hits new wife right between the eyes, dead on the spot.

years later, marries again and again new wife wants to come. Same hook, same barn, same caddy. Caddy Says no problem, open doors, hit through the barn right to the green.

New hubby says " Well BULL_ _ _ _ last time I tried that .........I took a 12.

Sounds to me like you married a pretty smart woman. Yard-sale those golf clubs and buy her something nice.

There was a cute cartoon in Playboy back in the early 1960s. No words, just pictures. A guy comes home from a golf outing, walks into the bedroom with his golf clubs and finds his wife in bed with another guy. He raises up his 9-iron to throttle the guy. The guy jumps out of the bed, lifts the guys elbow up higher and says something to him. The last cartoon shows him running out the door with his clubs with a big smile on his face.
