    Between 5 vehicles I have had it done about half a dozen times the last 2-3 years. All free per insurance payments and most done at a Sam’s club where the window chip guys set up a tent now and then. All done quite well, I see a little dimple in the glass but only because I consciously know it’s there. It has to be done or as stated it will get quite worse over time.
    Honor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.

      Color me embarassed! I had totally forgotten that I posted re our chip! Thanks everybody for the chip repair reassurance. I'll take care of this after it warms up a bit.

        Right Jim, chip can turn into a crack quickly. Insurance companies are not dummies. $50 chip repair on their dime sure beats their $300-500 outlay for a new windshield.
