As the song says, the party's over. One of the best things we did for this event was asking Izzy to be the Official Photorapher of Thunderwine. We can't thank him enough.
After working on ths event for a year, the only problem now is we have nothing to do, we are board. Well, a few things to clean up.....looks like a $350.00 donation will be made, after we finalize all the financial stuff, decide how much of the paper work to keep or throw away, and finally, a big thank you to everyone who attended Thunderwine in the North Georgia Mountains, with out you this event would not have happened.
Debbie and I are going to Ohio for a few weeks, not only to see all the grand kids, but to recover and have happy memories.
Again, Thank You all for everything.

Mike, Like a few people on this site have done in the past we know what it takes to put on an event together like you did. Many thanks to you and everyone involved for doing this. It was well thought out and well planned.

I hope someone in the future will take the mantel and carry on with this.
They are Here. Scotty, beam me up!

Thanks, Gene. Yep, I learned that it is some various serious stuff.

Sorry to hear about your illness. Glad you are on the mend. We also had to cancel the trip due to Connie’s continuing balance issues. Hopefully we will make the next event. Stay positive! Pat and Connie

Northern Georgia is definitely beautiful, drive; drive; drive; and you will see so much.

You are so right Issy, I have to admit that my first trip to the northeast Georgia mountains area I was pleasantly surprised to see such sights, they mountains, the towns that we visited and the many great roads that we travelled (mind you the great company of such great people added to the enjoyable week). I do know one thing for certain, that will not be my last trip to the area.

It turned out to be nicer because of the cool weather we had on so many days. Roxy's Air Conditioning is having issues and is in the Real Ford Garage as I write this. So far they've found a leak in the high pressure hose ( about $300 for the part ), and then a full load of refrigerant plus labor, probably around $1000 altogether. But Summer is coming and in Charleston, A/C is a must.

$700 seems for the refrigerant. I just had my Chrysler done for $300. Then again what do I know.

I think I have to find an alternative to my local Ford Dealership for future work.
