Unfortunately, my Route 66 trip has been put on hold. I just came out of the hospital with a new 3 lead pacemaker and Marie is going into the hospital next week to get her left knee replaced. Now scheduling September 1926 for the trip. Hopefully we will make then .

Our positive thoughts are with you both during your health “updates”! Miss seeing you both. Karen and I head to Dallas in 2 weeks (flying), to attend the VTCI/CTCI convention along with 2 other couples from our local club. I THINK there is talk of a Route 66 convention for 2026. Joe and Marie, hate to hear of your health issues. Praying for good outcomes for you both. Route 66 has its 100th Anniversary next year, so it will be a great time to check it out. We stayed at an Iconic Rt 66 motel a few nights ago in Tucumcari, NM - the Motel Safari. You'd swear you were transported back to the late 50s/early 60s in terms of the vibe you get from the place.
