Thanks for that chart. Some of the #'s don't make sense: Torch Red, Code 100A Black accent interior: 3. Now look at the line directly below that one, Torch Red, same Code 100A, ( but no interior listed) 259. What's the difference between those 2 lines? Same kind of confusion with the other colors....

ucla81: I think that the only difference is the Black Accent Package having been ordered with only 3 of the Code 100A models, whereas the other one (with 259 produced) had the standard interior.

See if you can help me spot this one on the chart (maybe I'm missing something here). I looked up the color combination for the 2003 Thunderbird that I would have probably ordered (if I had bought one this year) and couldn't find it on the list. I think that it would have been a very popular color combination.

It is: Desert Sky Blue/Performance White Top/Partial White Interior. I think that (if I remember correctly) it is the combination that they even used in the 2003 Thunderbird brochure. I can't find a single vehicle built in that combination.

The blue/white top/partial white interior was not an option that could be built according to the order sheets - apparently the whisper white seats wouldn't go with the performance white top!! You also couldn't get it for the black or red models with white tops. They rectified that for the 04s.

I note that it's difficult to tell what color accents went with the different colors particularly the partial colors. I'll see what I can come up with according to what was available to order.

If I read the list right , Premium, Mountain Shadow Grey, No top , Partial Int Color Acc (Saddle in my case) total 37

007 bird

Ford says 700 birds 007 edition built, but DavidA found out only 694 built? David, how do you go about finding out what happened to 0ther 6. I remember seeing a 007 for sale if mermory serves me correctly I think it was #696 or 697. I will see if I can retreive that info to relay to you

There are several ways to speculate on the "missing" 6 - of the 007 cars.

1 -did the serial number #s start with 007?
2 - were the 6? reported to have been built back in oct/nov 02 taken out of the lineup because they were preproduction?
3- were there problems with 6 during the production and they never left the plant?
4- were they company cars and thus never "sold" and accounted for as has been hinted at in the past with company cars?

I would assume that serial numbers up to 700 were issued. logging them in in the owners 007 data thread will help.

From the data we have right now, it appears that we won't know how many partial red or partial white interiors were with the red, black and white cars as they seemed to be lumped together in some of the stats.

I could pull out the partial saddle interiors because they used a different abbreviation for the same words.

If I read the chart right, there are 767 other cars like my premium whisper white (rest of description below). Is that right?

Frank, the problem with the chart is that it lumps all the partial interiors together for your premium, white with white top - ie, there were red partial interiors ordered besides white partials.
