Dot has been instrumental in doing these from day one. Guess I'd ask her with her huge Bird network to continue to think about her Canadian friends who were original owners who might have their original stickers still in their possession.

Harry has been great to provide so much original info on individual cars and has supported this 'lil project. I'll ask him to help also to see if between the two of us we can make heads or tails out of dates, exchange rates, and possible dates of Canadian price changes.

It would be appreciated if any member has pertinent info to share. Thanks as always!
Bill: The most reasonable way to show the Standard Vehicle Price is the price Harry shows at time of Delivery to Dealer. Prices could change from delivery time to time of sale . The dealers printed these stickers out as changes occurred . Also, on the bottom of sticker there will be changes to Dealer name and region of delivery . type of delivery (convoy or rail ) and delivery charge . With Harry's load of work, I can provide the Dealer name and vehicle delivery price on Canadian Birds for you as well , thanks to Harry . Just need the VIN of the bird in question.

Just prior to buying my retro in 2007, I was researching Canadian related info on 2002 options and prices, and at that time I remember finding a site that listed a standard sticker price of $56,035 Cdn. As many know, they pretty much came with everything, except we could only get the deluxe painted wheels and of course no fog lights (Canadian regulatory safety at its finest - NOT).

Now I can't find the site, only my notes at the time.

Thanks again to Bill and others for the effort put forward for us!

Just checked Harry's info for my 02 Tbird: $57,753.25 Can Dealer cost vs $57,640 Can Sticker price, appears I have the same issue.

On the Dealership delivery date (16JAN2002), $$ exchange rate ranged $1CAN = $0.6252 US to $0.6289 US according to http://www.bankofcanada.ca/rates/exchange/cad-usd-rate-lookup/, which is noted to be close to very lowest rate seen since 1950 of $0.6179 US. Was not a good time to buy American iron :( but I'm sure glad he did :)

The Canadian window sticker has lead to a few being sent out already but the latest request has got me into a corner on the $ info from the beginning of the MY to the MY end.

PM to a member might explain, and any thoughts/help would be appreciated. Obviously more original documents being found would sure help.

"Joe am a little bit of a quandry here with your car. Have only one 2002 original sticker in my possession and the price was in the 55,000 Canadian dollar range. Now your request using Harry's info shows yours had a dealer cost of almost 65,000 Canadian dollars. Am very confused how to fill your request with accurate info."

Have changed colors and vin but $ ????????

Well thanks to Dot, Bill Schultz and Martin Brugmans we now have a 2002 and a '03 007 Canadian stickers in the file. If you want one as usual they are free for the asking. Mark Gill will get one for BlingBird and hopefully do some proof reading for us.

Not having done one in over a year it was amazing what I'd forgotten. That plus moving to another operating system and new version of Excel made this like a cross word puzzle. Fix this cell and automatically screw up two others. Oh, well at least it's done.

Apology to SnowBird, the real first was an 007.

Bill sent a 2002 and the two are similar but the 007 is different. Will post them both when done.

Hi Bill. A Canadian newbie with a US car. What info do you need to produce a window sticker? Thanks for your time and consideration. Peter V.

Thanks Rich. Thanks to Harry Quickdraw for providing most of you with the needed info on your cars and then pointing to the window sticker thread.

Dot was instrumental in providing info for the basis of this thread. Always thanks to her. Still need Canadian Window sticker info to make this thread complete.
