Thanks Harry, It's real interesting about the build dates. The car was built in June 2001 and arrived at the Rail Head early Aug 2001 with a Hold. Car went back to Wixom for the Cooling fan pump fix and arrived second time at Rail Head in Amarillo on 10-9-2001. The VIN Data tag on the door jamb and the Oasis I got in June 2001 both show build date 06/01. When came back from Wixom Oasis said build date 8-5-2001 but the VIN Data tag on door jamb was not changed and still says 06/01. So I have two documented build dates.

Trust me, your car was built 8/5/2001 and shipped 8/6/2001... that sticker that says 06/01 was made up (sometimes weeks) ahead of the actual production date. They PLANNED to build it in June but problems pushed yours and many others back by weeks. By the way, that 06/01 isn't meant to indicate June first, but rather June 2001.

Apparently the car shows up in Oasis either when it is assigned a VIN (in your case 3/15/2001) or when it is Segmented/Scheduled (6/18/2001).

Dot may have more information on the cars that were delayed and have miss-matched door stickers and actual build dates.

There is a very good chance your tires were made after June 2001 thus supporting the August build date. If you still have the original tires check their build dates. Here's how:

I met the originals owners recently and they made no comments about anything being swapped out. The car currently has Black Interior Accent and 7-spoke chrome wheels. The other features match including dealership. Odds of it being assembled different than recorded?

Now, that is strange. I have changed to seven spoke chrome on my VMG, but that would be quite a swap on the interior.

Thank you for questioning my data and sorry for the error. As I went across my Microsoft Access database table I did slip down a line and Sold Date, Invoice, Description, and One Of was actually from another VMG - Here is your corrected data:

If you have the window sticker check that because it absolutely left the factory with 16 spoke wheels. Are your current 7 spoke wheels the 2002-2003 style or 2004-2005 style?

For those familiar with MS Access, I have created a QUERY to retrieve only the relevant data and no other data, to eliminate the possibility of this type error.
