    Dot evening; Found series 555 with a VIN of 7956, I thank the owner (from Tennessee) for letting us know about this. Some folks are cautious when I ask for the series and VIN.


    Add this one also; Number 841 with VIN 9087

    Yeah, the stock market, just using an S&P 500 index fund would have doubled several times in the last 18 years. In 2004 many people who loaded up on Dot-coms were still licking their wounds.

    I googled it, $100 invested at the beginning of 2004 with dividends reinvested would be $483. today. That is an 8.9% compound annual rate of return. Or $100. doubled twice plus $83.

    One of the 1000 PCRs sold in Harrisburg at the Mecum Auction this weekend. It sold for $30,250 including the buyer's commission. It had 14,700 miles on the odo.

    Just read someone is on their way to Seattle to pick up a 2004 PCR #0014 Bird. Appears the new home might be in Lotus, California.
    And if you are updating the first entry on this thread, #102 may now reside with #720 in the same garage.
