some ice blue data

spotted an old auction on ebay so I asked Quickdraw about it.

This ice blue had a performance white hardtop but the order sheets I've come across didn't allow that option so quickdraw was asked to check his 2004 data. lo and behold ( and as someone here saw last spring at Wixom), Ford did allow the performance white hardtop on the light ice blue color. It's rare though - only 51 were built - and all had the partial performance white interior. think this might be the used car color I'll watch for.

First thing I'd do to it would be to paint the lower dash and door parts performance white.

i agree about matching the lower dash and door parts. I've been wanting to do this with mine, but have been hesitant...it seems so permanent

I know this is an old post, but I am in the process of trying to obtain a white vinyl applique using 3M pressure adhesive sheet made to fit these areas. This would allow later removal if you wanted to convert back to original. I will keep this thread notified if I am able to do this.

If you don't feel qualified to apply the material yourself and can afford the cost, locate a car wrapper that deals with applying these films. See the attached URL and look at the gallery. Hope this is helpful.

Some one try this and let us know. I have painted areas on the door panel, but this might be better.

I think the paint/dye is probably the better approach for the soft part of the door panels. Their web site says the films are for hard, non-porous surfaces.

Now the headlight ghost flames are another matter...

I've got Dot's endorsement I'm going to do the door panels when I can 'sneak' that in. Ron was responsible for bringing us this mod. Being a klutz, I'll leave this to the pros! And DOT, my car had 88 like her made, with 79 being premium models. (thanks to your friend and mine, Harry).
