I know what you mean yelobird2002. When I looked at the site my Porthole with the emblems was on it, one of the first pictures I took of of them. Makes one wonder where they get this stuff, but it was a nice surprise. It might be the pictures I post on ebay or from my yahoo photo site. Hope you checked out the detailed info, it's very interesting.
My '02 VIN ends with 29923. The door panel says manufactured in 10/02. So in the 31,000 range sounds about right. When were the last 02's manufactured?
Unfortunately, anyone who thinks that these cars will become a classic is sadly mistaken. Anything mass produced (31,000) is not a classic. I just bought a new leftover '02, and paid $5000 under invoice (not MSRP!). Too bad for those who paid 10,000 over MSRP!
