i was talkin with someone in wixom yesterday and was told that there were over 32000 02 built but didnt elaborate on it he said he would tell me the number that was built when i see him in wixom monday the 25. if the weather holds out. while i am there going to take the tour and try to find out exactly how many birds were built and get a look at the 03
I hope they narrow it down even further than that. I would like to know not only how many of each color produced, but with / without hardtop, premimum pkgs, deluxe pkgs, full color / partial color, and how many per month.
I have wondered about these stats ever since I got mine. I doubt I will ever know, but it would be nice for informational purposes.
Are you familiar with the statistics that Joe O'Donnell keeps in the newtbirddata Yahoo group? Here is his graphic illustrating the production breakdown by model, color and options.

Surely there's someone on this forum that knows someone, that knows someone at Ford that can get us the final numbers and break-down of cars produced, along with the colors and combinations produced for 2002. I would love to see the final numbers and I know that everyone on the forum would like to find out that information too. I know that someone at Ford has that database on their computer. Anybody have any contacts that can get us that information?
Joelja: Your the man!!! You led people to your Ford contact on the missing boxes and got results. So I'm sure that you will get all of the latest statistics.
Thanks!
I guess that this is the day that we have the "drum roll" to see what colors are listed as:
The most produced?
The least produced?
It's been a long year (longer than originally expected) to get to this day. It's kind of like closing the book for 2002and opening a new book for 2003.
