2002 Production numbers

Thank you very much for posting these figures. They have answered questions I have been wondering for for quite some time.

I looked and looked for the order number on my window sticker, and I finally found it. It is located under KEY STANDARD EQUIPMENT section on the right side of the sticker.

I am one of 3778, and proud.

Thanks Joel and everyone else for getting this information. I'm out of town until Sunday night and using a slow computer on a slow modem and can't open those spreadsheet files to study them until I get back to Atlanta. It's exciting to see the results and to know how many of our cars are out there!

i would like to take this time to say thanks to all that put this together and i did get to pull it up off my laptop that has excel. thanks for helping to retrieve. this information is really great to have, and will go great with the line built computor printout i have of my bird. all this will add to the appearance to show my bird with the vintage thunderbird of kansas city

Attached I have grouped the cars by color and the Interior Package and the number of cars by roof color.

One useless bit of interesting information I saw is that there are no Partial Interior Colors in the Deluxe Model with no hard top..

On Deluxe without the hardtop, the only option available was the black accent interior. With the hardtop, you could get any interior.

The data shows that there are the Black Accent Package and Full Interior Color Accent Packages on the Deluxe with no hard top. What would the Full Interior Color Accent Packages be??

According to the dealer order guide and the brochure, on the 100A model (deluxe no top), only the 68B option (black accent) interior is available. If some have the color interiors, then the order computer's program must have let the dealers order invalid combinations and Wixom built them!

When I asked Dave Davis about Monday or Holiday built cars, he told me " all thunderbirds take 4 1/2 days to build, so all thunderbirds are on some part of the line on a monday"

That site is very interesting 02Birdman. I thought it was really interesting that the picture of the VIN tag showing the VIN and the build sequence # was my car! I guess they got it from Dot as I shot a picture for her to put on her site. Maybe it will make it collectable some day, people looking for the car by the VIN, build date they saw on different sites. Probably not, but ok to dream isn't it.
