Okay, don't know about summer being 2 weeks away stuff (I realize the calendar implication, but it's already hit 114 here, so that's beside the point).

My choice would be an oldie...don't know the name of it, but I can hear Ray Charles' voice in my head...

I voted for "good Vibrations" by th Beack Boys, but anything by the "Beach Boys or The Eagles is a winner!

Good Vibrations certainly gets my vote, but I have to agree with Captain Ken, anything by the Beach Boys is welcome in my CD player! (Actually, I would have selected a George Jones song, but I couldn't think of anything that related to summer.)

While it's nowhere near my favorite song (which is "I Only Have Eyes For You" by the Flamingos), there's a song by the Beach Boys at the very end of American Graffiti where one character (Dryfuss) is up in the plane watching the TBird motoring along.

For some reason, that particular song (IMHO) caught the summer and California atmosphere perfectly.

It was never a big BBoys song, but I enjoy it as much as my other favorite BBoy song, "Don't Worry Baby".
