I'm 44 now and when I drive my wifes car I have to beat the women off with a stick! That's only when she's with me though. And you know what? I ain't that pretty.....
she 57,he 58,met in 73..had a 340 duster,then a roadrunner,grand prix sj, monte carlo, 280zx...then children,station wagons,mini vans and suvs...kids gone...back to caddys...now the bird.....NATURAL ORDER OF THINGS
I drive the Crysler when I want to feel some real torque. The sound the CAI makes, is something else, when you floor it. On the 02 Tbird, I listen to the sound of the Borlas, but I have to remember that I am 100HP short when it comes to merging in tight trafic.
Well Steve, I agree with you on the Bird they are great cruisers, but every so often its nice to get into something that can smoke the tires, chirp in four gears and is louder than the radio, especial if your way right of 40. (IMHO)

I'm 43, right on the "cusp" of the demographic the t-bird was meant for. As mentioned in another post, I've looked at many cars, but the T-bird always seemed to speak to me. It was just time for me to own a convertible (and sporty) car. The T-bird was as near to perfect as I could have hoped for.
I just turned 36 about a week ago and my husband is 28 and we both love my car. Back when they were new I couldn't afford one. Now, I want like 3 of them LOL! I did tell my husband if Ford ever came out with another good lookin Bird like these I was going to have to get a new one this time. My goal for 2009 is to aquire a limited special Bird like the Anniversary Ed. After being on TBN I do feel... well... common I like to be different. One of the reasons I picked out my Mustang was because it was Calypso Green. I never knew these other kinds of Birds exsisted. Now that I do I want one for a garage princess and have my Black raven as a daily driver.

I know I do need that...I thought about it after I posted it Black really was never my first choice because you see black, white and red cars (in general) all the time. I just like different and flashy (color wise that is... the car itself is different and flashy IMO). If I knew this site was here I would have started my shopping here and it would have saved a lot of problems for us. However, I would never undo what I have done and gone through to get my Bird and trust me it was a looooooong stressful process and I FINALLY got my Bird. Ok back to your regularly scheduled polling
Old guy here, 61. I have an '03 Bird that's Whisper White, Evening Black Hardtop and the Full Interior Accent Package, Red/Black (1/9). When I have the need for speed, I hop into my '01 Vette Roadster and burn up the road.
What a great poll! I was just about to submit a thread regarding this very same topic the other day but figured I better not. I was trying to find out how many young t-bird owners there were out there but didn't want to offend anyone. I am 21 and have always wondered if I am the youngest person on this earth to own one of these cars or what? This poll is very interesting! Thanks again!
I have to agree with MATBird. As a co-worker once said "I may have to get older, but I refuse to grow up." He was talking about the perception that after 50 or so some folks seem to just sit on the porch. I say there's nothing wrong with that, especially if your "porch" is cruising near the water with the top down! Remember.....Life is too short not to have fun.
