      John,

I found it interesting that for a car whose demographic target audience was to be 50+ the poll stops at 46. Do we dare start a poll for age 47 and up or just rock on, the way we are?

      BTW, Congrats on the aquisition.

How can I post my wifes car on this thread. Took my 2003 OK, but will not accept a second vehicle.

Vote 46+ and 2005 car. Female.

        Thanks
        Dennis

Looks like there should be a new poll with ages above 46 detailed!!

Since most are 46+ it would be interesting to see if more are 50, 55, 60, 65,70, 75, 80 or older than 90! If this site keeps going, some 70 year old buyers new could be 80 soon!

80 in 2018.... , but when I consider the alternative I have to wish me many, many more

I hope that I age as slow as this

And some of y'all out there will beat me to that magic (?) age.

You certainly picked a beautiful combination with your Merlot w/sand Tbird. Although I like them all but your color and trim combination has to be one of my favorites!

Kansas City, Mo - Thorrobred Ford Dealership - Just completed an exhausting experience with them. Envolved in accident in my Bird last Oct. 30th and just now finished. I am a satisfied customer. . . after many shinnagins with the body shop and some customer service. They still can't figure out why the car won't start. ANY SUGGESTIONS OUT THERE, PLEASE. Replaced battery. I only drive 5 miles to work, had a terrible winter, and don't drive much on weekends.

There is an Inertia fuel shutoff switch that may have been triggered in the accident?

I'm 21 and ever since I started driving I wanted a tbird. I really want a 55 or 62 but they're hard to come by down here. Lot of people tell me it's an old person car but I just say it's not. I tell them if I wanted to race I get a mustang but it's all about top down crusing fun.

Wife worked at Ford dealer in '67 and we bought a loaded '67 mustang convert. Had to sell when first child came 'cause too small I am 68 she is 64 and for years she has wanted another '67 mustang convert. I told her they weren't that great a car new and now you were loking at 30K for one and she would be disappointed. I bought my first import a SL mercedes and she didn't like it all that much. Traded for '04 Bird and she loves it more than her mustang. I have ownd more Fords than any brand. have 3 currently. I am cured on any imore mports

I've owned two Corvettes over my lifetime, an '84 and an '82. The '84 I sold in Steenwijk, NL small world isn't it. The past few years I've been dreaming of another 'Vette until I started seeing these Thunderbirds everywhere.

I love my bird and wouldn't trade it. Maybe I had to break 40 to figure out what I really wanted.

I have two sons - one 19 and one 30 and both absolutely love driving the T-Bird to the Jersey shore. And I love it when my wife and I head off top-down to our favorite shore places with summer beach music playing on the radio, white clouds sailing in a clear blue sky, and the smell of the ocean wafting into the cabin. It's a great feeling regardless of your age!
