Satisfied with Your Bird.

I don't think this has ever been posted before so here goes.


I'm asking how satisfied you are with your car. I know that there are many things that the members here would have liked Ford to add to the Bird from 02 to 05 but you got what you got. So with that said, how satisfied are you with what you have? For some of us it is now going on 8 to 9 years of ownership. For others that have bought used it could be as little as a week. Take the poll and lets see the results.

We know back at the beginning of TBN that Ford kept an eye on this site. Maybe they are still looking and they may think about putting the Bird back into production in the future.

Spence, I couldn't be happier with my TBird. Best "hobby" car I have ever owned. The car has triggered meeting many new friends, and when I see something "which needs improvement", I simply "mod it".

What a great car and the people who appreciate it.

Spence, to be honest, I really had some issues with Ford in the past. Lets just say in the eighties when my first owned Ford caught on fire. I have owned a number of cars and some worse than my first Ford experience, but when I got my 02 Thunderbird, my thoughts changed drastically...

Not only is it the best car I ever bought, It is already the car I have kept the longest so far... I have only kept a car 3 to 4 years before wanting something new in the past.

I just can't seem to see me getting rid of my bird anytime soon...

As far as some features go, a car is to drive, and my thunderbird does that well enough for me...

This car has brought more smiles in every mile then any other I ever owned.
And what is more important is the friendships that came along. It's a keeper for life.

Thoroughly satsified! Love to profile my TBird, which means drive it around to enjoy the long looks and warm smiles from others when they see it.

Of course we all know this poll (and I did spell poll right this time) will be very one sided but comments will be great to read instead of just voting...

I am curious as well who put up the vote that they are unsatisfied and why...

John, you can DO it!!! We will give you some tips in Memphis!!! Use soft luggage!! Jer and I drove to Mich and back in a six week trip!!! You just have to wash a lot and mail things home!! Can't wait to see you Thursday!!

Couldn't be happier with my Bird.

But, as my motto for my numerous T Bird events says:

"It is not ALL about the cars, it is about the people who drive them."

You won't find a nicer bunch anywhere.
