You're right, the "ThunderbirdNest.com" part probably wouldn't be as legible if done in Ford script, but I think it would look great.

I guess it all comes down to which is more important. That it looks great, or is legible so that someone MIGHT read it and be influenced to visit us here?

That's pretty much why I got the window clings.

But, not to overshadow the work you've done on this. Greatly appreciated here.

Just please don't ship it overseas to have the work done if possible!

I'd buy the one in Post 255. Also, with regard to ~1,000 members, it might be interesting to know about how many different members sign in at least on a monthly basis and how many haven't logged on within the last year. Just curious.

This is a composite photo of the badge we had made for our local TBird club. It is a very nice job. Try to imagine how it would look utilizing the porthole, new bird wing theory.

I have to add to JerryP's post.

This looks very nice. I was impressed. It is metal, very sturdy, the wings are sturdy. I can't imagine they would be in danger of breaking off. It was designed with a longer screw through it to accommodate the "new" Thunderbirds. The lettering is raised, with a black background with lightly pebbled surface. The wings being a separate piece definitely ADD to the look of the medallion, and give it dimension. I'm not sure who from this club designed it (57TBird or TBirdWalker probably know) but it looks awesome. We should've gotten 2. Again, this was $20.

I know that some of us are very enthusiastic and like the proposed badge in #255. But I think it would be wise to get a cost for producing the badge. Then I'd start a new thread that actually was a place to place an order. I would personally pay up front if required.
