I didn't give them the option of voting for both, sorry. Intially, I will probably order one patch for each badge. It will not be included in the badge cost. Again, this is just to give me an idea on how many to order. I appreciate your posts and keep them coming, however, please realize that a post here, does not insure that you will get a badge. First ones with the order and payment receive the first badges. Once I receive the badges, I will mail them out in the order that I receive the payments. Order form will be posted early next week.

That's a good thing to check on Brenda. I will ask them Monday. I hope we get the exact number ordered.Originally posted by BLUNBIRD
Jerry - Are they allowed a 10% overage or underrun - as in printing? If so, you will need to allow for that possibility.2002 Inspiration Yellow

Joybird, I'm not set up to take credit cards or Paypal, sorry. The order form will be posted hopefully next week. Again, keep a close eye on this thread. The only thing holding me up is the cost for the patches. Once I know that, then I will list it on the order form.

Cash Flow and Collection !!!
Jerry,
I agree with you to get an order form.
You need and accurate name and address for the people that do not have access to PayPal.
However, PayPal would really help you out on your sales and accuracy.
PayPal would provide you with a "CONFIRMED" address, so you don't have to try to get it. PayPal defines a confirm address as the one where you receive your Bank and Credit Cards Statement. Therefore, you are assure that your sales are actual sales.
It will increase sales for sure.
It would be very comfortable for you and for all of us.
It is really easy to set yourself up with PayPal account.
If you need any help please let us know.
Besides getting the money right away (which would be important for you for a Positive Cash Flow), it is a secure site for the seller and for the buyer.
You need to get your money as soon as possible. Unless, you are a multimillionare ready to spend it all.
Besides the TBN Club, you can sell the Badges and the Patches on eBay. There are many Thunderbird owner that do not know about TBN, but would like to have a Badge or a Patch.
I encourage you to get PayPal. PayPal is so good that eBay, Corporation, bought the company.
Have a look at it in the following web page:

Paypal
We can discuss further.Originally posted by BLUNBIRD
Jerry - I have a PayPal account and use it extensively for Ebay purchases and sales. I also found it useful for the TBN calendar. If you do not want to set one up, you can use mine and we can coordinate the receipt of payments.2002 Inspiration Yellow

Why would a non-member want a badge that is for a club they don't care enough about to join? Sheesh, it's not like it's going to cost them anything!. Why would we want nonmembers to even HAVE one? I say, badges and patches for MEMBERS only!
And, guys, please don't sell these badges on ebay for profit!
Jerry has worked very diligently on these to get them to production stage. He has logged countless long distance phone fees, computer design time and plenty of worry time to do these for you all. He did this to assure YOU a quality product that you would be proud to display to show the world YOU belong to TBN. He did this with no desire or intent for personal gain. His intent was that NO ONE would make money from this as it was FOR EVERYONE. This is the only reason he took this project on. Please don't negate his integrity by selling these on ebay for your own personal gain. Each one you sell takes one away from a real member that may want one.
I apologize if I've over-reacted here, but it is so very important that all Jerry's work on these be respected for why it was done. I know no one has even acted as though they may sell them on ebay, but with ebay mentioned as a selling field, selling them individually can't be far behind. Macfrank's post got me to thinking, and I know how some of this crowd can be about making a buck or two.
Jerry's going to shoot me for posting all this, but this is how I feel.
This is not aimed at any one person, BTW, but at everyone.
If mods want to delete or edit it, ok.

Whoa there Queenie!
The Paypal account enables people to "charge" their purchase through a middle-man (Paypal). Usually used for buying and selling ebay items, it has expanded to become a very handy tool for quick purchases.
I don't think anybody would make much off of selling a TBN medallion on ebay. It would not mean anything to anyone who did not belong to the club. Besides, by the time someone bought one and paid the ebay fee to advertise it, it would be much cheaper to purchase one from Jerry.
Settle down, or we will have to get the meds out again - even the electric paddles and you know how that hurts!
