Now, why am I not surprised she did that?

Congratulations on the new chariot, Queenie. You deserve it!

Jerry, you can use those 04 wheels for your yellow car now, replace the PCR center caps with the 04 white ring ones and let her put the NMs on the pcr. I think your yellow car will appreciate the new look. and the pcr rings can be saved from any scratches.

somehow, I think we all knew we'd get to congratulate the today!

                  Queen's Dilemma

OK, Karyl, another dilemma: Are you bringing the PCR to Thunder Isle? And Gobird you need to update your Thunder Isle list of cars that are coming. Does this mean that there will be no MSG at Thunder Isle now that Karyl has her PCR?

Oh! I have changed my forum name from Charles to "Bird 1" (for my first TBird).

I'd like to take it to ThunderIsle. And Jerry's yellow too. He's addded a lot to it and it looks just great.

I'd personally like to leave the PCR wheels/center rings ON, because I think it looks good on the car, lthough I didn't initially like the 04 wheels. These, because of the painted ring, are unique and do go well with the car. I like the look of it. The matte rather than shiny finish is attractive on the PCR and doesn't 'take over', as I'm afraid the NM wheels might.

If all goes according to plan, there will be no MSG at ThunderIsle. But I know where you can get a used one with 3300 miles, garage kept and 100 miles (if that) on the tires.

Te42, check out the PCR in Atlanta and let me know what you think!

I also like the PCR wheels and would not change them at this time - maybe later - when and if you get tired of the PCR wheels. I especially like the painted ring on the center cap that matches the paint color of the PCR. If I were buying an '04 this is the color that I would want. I love the lighter (not black!) interior color. I hope that you enjoy it and look forward to seeing it and all the other 'Birds at Thunder Isle.

                              Hail to the Queen!!!!!

My preference of all the wheels (maybe other than wire wheels and I can't afford those due to continually buying Tbirds) are the 21 spoke chrome, or NM wheels as some folks call them. I'll leave my NM's on the yellow and who knows what will happen to the PCR. I personally think the PCR needs some chrome. It is a little monotone in appearance. Everything blends together, including the wheels. I may eventually get around to buying a set of chromed '04 wheels and try them on the PCR, that way she can keep her painted center caps on the car. At that point, I'll have any extra set of NM wheels that I will sell.

I agree totally about putting up the originals, but it's not my car. I have been forewarned of that decision. I am only here to make payments, so any of the above comments are purely hypothetical.
