      I drive it most

Of the 7,000+ miles that we have on the car, I have driven over 99% of the miles. Milinda has driven it twice. She simply wants to be chauffeured, as in:

Since our car is in BLUNBIRD's name and driven by her as a daily driver (except in rain/snow), I will yield to her vote on this poll. I do drive it on weekends and trips with her in the passenger seat as supervisor/instructor/guide/advisor/consultant/navigator/organizer/and uh.....oh yeah, companion.

Other than that, I am responsible for washing/waxing/fueling/serviceing.

I drive the T-bird, and she drives the Suburban. It's not that she doesn't like the T-bird, it's just that she doesn't trust herself and might scratch it. Really...that's fine with me!!!

My Bird is my daily driver. Judy usually gets an offer to drive it whenever we go somewhere together in the car, but she usually opts to be chauffeured and ride in style.

I would have to say that mine is 99% male. Susan loves to drive it, but like most of the other ladies, is afraid something would happen to it while in her care. Besides, she also enjoys the relaxation of being the co-pilot.

My wife Jo loves the car. But I use it as a daily driver to work. She loves to go out to dinner on weekends with the top down. But even then, I drive it. Once in a while I might let her have it for the day during the week and I'll use her Accord. But I've had it a month now and that only happened once.

If anyone understood what CaptainKen said, would you interpret for me?

I will vote on the poll, since I am the 98% driver, but make no mistake that CaptainKen is the 100% director of when and where it gets driven.

My wife won't even park the Bird. Celina says I'm to much of a pain in the A#@ when it comes to "OUR" car. And she won't be the one to put the first dent or scratch in it.

Sad to say, since George retired, he's been the chauffeur so he's now got more than 50% of the mileage on the car. However, I did get to use it as a daily driver when my other car was sidelined for 3 months this winter. Not afraid of scratches or dents - other people do that, not me! They're the ones that need to be afraid. Oops! forgot about the time I parked it over a high curb. lol

Wife drives a dodge Hemi pickup She is only a passenger in the Bird although she is welcome to drive it any time she wishes. She is content on riding in stile. By the Way do most guys refer to their birds as She? and do the gals refer to theirs as he?

I call it "The Bird". BLUNBIRD calls it "MY CAR".
