Re: Smoking
NOBODY is smoking is my T-Bird!!
Not with the top down, not with the window wide-open...........NEVER! Cigarette ash burns are always possible, and can you imagine what they might do to your soft top, boot cover or worse yet, leather seats?
Going back to the story that started this thread, if the guy who made you turn around and go back so that he and his wife could take their own car so that they could smoke, why didn't they ask beforehand? That seems idiotic to me that they didn't work it out in advance.
And furthermore, does this guy ever fly? What's he going to do, demand that the pilot turn around when they illuminate the NO SMOKING sign? It's not like they forgot the Columbian coffee in that one commercial!
Even smokers today know that smoking in public places is widely unacceptable, and knowing that, they should make provisions to isolate themselves if they insist on smoking in the presence of others. Even when I go to Las Vegas, I look for non-smoking tables, because I don't want to smell or breathe their second-hand smoke where it is still allowed amongst non-smokers in some places.
