I think if you call the hospital and ask if Greg Nelson is a patient these they will answer yes or no (but nothing else). Or have the privacy nuts put a stop to that?

Ask to be put through to his room. They’ll either connect you or say there’s no patient by that name.

Spoke with Jane last evening. said yesterday was not a good day. Pain was extreme (isn't the second day after surgery always the worst?) and they couldn't get it under control without going back to an intravenous drip. reluctant to do that due to diabetes and high blood pressure issues. Hoping for a better day today! Seems like he will be in the hospital for at least a day longer than originally planned.

If there was a thread about what you did in/for/to someone else's T-Bird I'd post there but will use this for a few comments about having a nice lunch with Greg's Handy man/caretaker Stewart Weir and better half Pat. ( Sorry the Greg unofficial picture poster was negligent in taking photos) After a great lunch we went over to check out Greg's and Janes's new digs. House was great 3 BR, great kitchen, and wonderful two part enclosed screened wrap around porch that gives an option of sitting in either shade or sunlight. Magnificent! The Real Estate Broker in me was amazed at the size of the lot. Much bigger than most (Jane explained there was a utility easement that led to the size.) Big enough for an in ground pool to be added. just wait 'til Jane gets her shovels and pruning shears out. Lot is pleasantly landscaped.

Few thoughts on the former Kelly Provost DSB. Beautiful, extremely well cared for car.

Few more thoughts on the car to get Greg's blood flowing.
            1. Stewart was one screw short for putting the license plate on but he is a genius with a tube of Epoxy cement.
            2. The small scratch from Gerri's purse should rub right out.
            3. Gerri and Pat report a slight shimmy at 112-116 mph.
            4. I know where you hide the ignition key!

            Get well quick Buddy!

Just spoke with Greg who is coming home today. Surgery was more extensive than originally thought and pain was extreme.

At least it is behind him now. Now on too better health and good times.

After he reads this he will go into cardiac arrest and have to stay a while longer. Just kidding, Get well soon Greg.

Great to hear from you, Greg!! Prayers do work, don't they? You need to listen to some good music to distract you from your discomfort. I suggest some Thunderbird Songs! Glad you are on the mend.

Was kind of hoping when came out of the anesthesia you would have forgotten about those.

Anyway, so glad you are through it safely. The pain will surely lessen with time and rest. My advice - take narcs if you need them, but the minute you think you don't, switch to something else. You don't want to become a statistic in the opioid epidemic.
