Welcome Ken Thomas, from another Thomas down in Tahlequah. Congrats on your new to you Inca Gold. A rare find indeed. My favorite way to get my Inca Gold owning friends excited is to remind them how sad it is Ford could only find 82 people who liked the color.

As Ray mentioned earlier in the thread, we are having a mini-event in Bartlesville in April. You can read all about it here: http://www.thunderbirdnest.com/forum...91#post1020791 . With you living in Owasso, you could easily commute if that works better for you. Please feel free to point others in the Tulsa club to the information. It doesnt matter what year off Thunderbird they own. We only have a limited number of spaces still available at the restaurants, so It's first come, first serve till the are gone. It will be a great way to meet new friends and show off your new ride.

Welcome, Ken! Glad to see you made it here and this thread is taking off for you. I plan to be at the event in Bartlesville with our Inca Gold. and it looks like Dave from Garland, TX will also be making it in his. Alas, maybe Dave won't be driving his but his 007 Coral. Would be a great time to meet you if you are able to make that event.

I have a listing of all the Inca Gold's made on the Inca Gold group

Ken, if you would come and Ron and I drove our inca gold we would have 5. That would set a new record.

We'd also have to get Dave to change his mind on whichTbird he's driving to make it a record. Right now he's listed as driving his 007.

I can drive the IG. It will be fun to have a lot of them there at the same time.

Thanks to all of your welcome messages. I am going to tentatively plan to make the Bartlesville activity. Sounds like fun and it really would be quite an honor to have 5 of us at the same activity. See you there.

The Inca Gold was just in Oklahoma last summer and several others are waiting their turn. Wonder what the two Inca's from Wisconsin are up to?

Just made our reservations at a local RV park. We will drive the IG (it's only 40 miles), and will be there Thursday thru Sunday morning. Looking forward to meeting all IG folks and "setting the record?"

Glad you can make it, Ken. Looks like Ron is wimping out, trying to rotate driving his collection. Guess he doesn't want to set a new record for the Incas

I have a Torch Red as you know Paul and I did have an Evening Black, but I for one would love to have an Inca Gold. It is Barbara who doesn't share my enthusiasm for the color, she somehow doesn't like the greenish tinge/hue , whatever. I like it!

I just finished driving my Inca Gold for two tanks of gas and I did enjoy looking at that nice soft pastel color.
