Did you tighten the bolts with the wheels on and weight on them? That was the hardest part of my job today as I replaced rear struts and upper strut mounts on my son's 2006 Ford 500. I'm sore now. I have the QuickJack 5000 but most work was on the creeper with one wheel removed (because plastic broke). It's a crazy design on the 500. One has to remove the diagonal control arm (which doesn't align up without a tie strap to force it forward) and lower control arm and to replace the strut mount one has to loosen up rear sub-frame to allow mount and spring bracket to come out together. This work is so hard without a conventional lift, etc. Congrats on your accomplishments. It was getting over 90 degrees in my shop today too.

Wow, guys, I'm impressed that you did all that work yourself. My talents are definitely in other areas, so when it's time for these suspension repairs my step-son's shop will get the job. Thanks too, for posting the part sources!

I still have to find the time to tackle and change the passenger rear side. And then do the 4 wheel alignment. It very time consuming and I still also have the other 4 vehicles to look after!Originally posted by Tbear View PostIssy, looks good! Are you gonna get the rear wheels aligned now?

Over the last two nights after work I finished the passenger rear side. Little bit easier after doing the other side, noticed that there was less wear and tear on these bushings but the upper ball joint was quite loose and beat.Honor the sacrifices our predecessors paid for our country.
