  • Realistic Thunderbird value

Sometimes at night when I have diffculty falling asleep strange thoughts go through my head. I have a 2003 bird with 21000 miles with Borla exhaust, black and white interior plus other nice odds and ends. The car is red and is in showroom condition. The car is located in Palm Beach Florida. The reasons for the sale is the beginning of unavailable parts for the car. My questions are:

What can I get for the car if I were to sell it ? I know if I traded it to a dealer the price would low. How do I sell the car? What would be a realistic price?

    Thank you all who respond.

Wow, those figures look low. I don’t see parts availability as a reason to sell. Since it’s not a daily driver, waiting a short time for a part wouldn’t bother me. I’ve considered selling recently but for other reasons.

My car is priceless because of the friends we have made over the past 16 years. At the end of this year I will probably have around 150,000 miles. What is it worth, I really don't care. It's a car and JUST a car that brought many people together over the past 16 years. Much more important then $$$$$.

I think he is asking about his car not yours. We all know what yours is worth.

I think it depends on if you want sell it soon or advertise it for sale for awhile. Ask more than $15K and you'll probably have it for a while. You didn't mention if it has a hardtop or not. If it doesn't I'd say $14K max.

From what I'm seeing a 20,000 mile Bird should sell, (private party), in the 16 to 17 k range.

There's no market for those cars anymore, I have a friend that's a Thunderbird expert who I can have take a look at it. Since I have to cover overhead if it will help you I can give you 10k and I can pick it up next weekend
