Same color as some of my wisteria but it is not that. The blooms look like little christmas trees about 3-4 inches tall and are on the end of a branch. The buds show the shape and then a few weeks later they open up with this bright blue color all within days of each other. It is a "Chaste Tree", I was just informed by a former Kiwanis Member Norman Nochowitz, who knows his trees.sigpic

wisteria is a woody vine and the floral heads droop. Most likely it's a jacaranda tree.Limited Edition databases for 007 msg..#26 , PCR sticky, and Cashmere msg.#64

You folks sure made it hard to decide who will pick the next challenge. Notice I didn't say winner, cause there is way more than one winner in this group. Several had really neat reflections in the pictures which really added depth to the photos.
I'm going to pick Mike's shot of his Medium Steel Blue. Besides the great flowering tree I was particularly fascinated with the reflection of the branches on the trunk lid. They remind me of lightning bolts, so thunder and lightning is a perfect combination.
Mike please pick the next challenge and keep the fun moving forward.21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !
