    • Ted's up to date picture inspired me to go to The Castle today for an updated one as well. Here's today's version of the one I posted earlier.

                  • This is the Butler Home in Hampton, TN built about 1890 for a lumber baron. In the early 1920's it was purchased by a former governor of Georgia. It has a very large fresh water spring in the back yard that supplies over half of the water for Elizabethton.

                      • There was only 3 homes to chose from, the 3 are certainly unique and the back stories made each home very interesting. Makes one want to see the inside decor. Thanks for sharing the photos.

We, my photo assistant & I have chosen
02-TBird, Ted's picture as the photo challenge picture of choice. That home, the Kensington House is the oldest of the 3 homes built in 1865.

The next photo challenge moves on to 02-TBird.

                              • I thank you Mike, you put forth a great challenge. For the next challenge seeing as we are now into fall and the fall colours are at their peak, a picture of your Thunderbird with the fall colours as a back drop. It has stopped raining here in Northern Ontario and I'll try to get out and get a picture of our colours tomorrow.

Soget out and enjoy the fall and snap snap a picture or two.

                                Ted
