Quickdraw can probably help with the date you bought it, if you give him the last five # of your VIN.

Mileage 126,552. Bought from Galpin Ford in Prescott. Don't drive it much since the pandemic. Oil change twice a year. Little over 1000 miles in the last year. Took delivery 4 April, 2004. Sill have the original window sticker MSRP $42,450.00, and all other delivery and mfg info including the arts content info which says, incorrectly I'm told, that the transmission was made in France. Replaced the sand top years ago.

Thanks, Rusty, add my to the club.

Rusty, you might have the right date for driving the car home. The date I say I took delivery was the title date so my guess is your date is right but at this age, who can remember?

Doug, guess I missed this thread first time around.

                2002 Thunderbird Blue, full interior
                Drove home Feb. 2002
                152,000 happy miles.

Guess i could find the date I picked it up but you know, going to the filing cabinet, asking Judge Judy to look for the paperwork, because I'm not supposed to touch her filing system. Just too much trouble.

This really sucked. I've only driven 6,729 miles in the past 19 months and 2,132 of them were in the past week.

That’s what happens when you are in a fog and driving backwards. The odometer turns in reverse.

I only put about 300km on last summer. Took it out of storage today, I sure hope I put many more km’s on it this summer.

Just curious how many original owners are still out there. It's nice that there are 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th owners doing their thing, but Facebook makes me shake my head at times. If only they were on this site perhaps some of those comments would disappear. So...... who is still original?

Well I’m still here but the car isn’t running. Definitely need a new battery.
