Here's a couple of little items that go together. We have a pin and a fury thing that several of us received during a tour in one of our travel events. I pulled it out of thr trunk for one picture, but it usually rides in the location depicted in picture #2.

The Fraser's PCR has been in a new & caring home receiving all kinds of love. It was purchased from Gerry early spring 2019. It is still a citizen of British Columbia, residing in the city of Kelowna. The new owners are very good friends of ours so I keep a careful watch on that PCR.
AS for Gerry we hear she is doing very well
I remember you saying that ya'll know the new owners of the Fraser's PCR. Good to hear that Gerry is doing well.
I can find my 2009 version of that calendar but will have to search harder for this one
so
#1 - Steve Raileanu made the calendar (Don't remember his handle)
#2 - Paul seems to be the most easily identifiable person that helped with that calendar
#3 - I must still have that calendar, somewhere??
Well, my searches are over for the 2008 calendar. Found it today in a box I had already thumbed thru, and was easy to find it in there.

Indeed the poster was a prize for winning the "Garden of the Gods Beauties" photo contest after the 2013 Pikes Peak event (can't believe that was 7 years ago). Roger asked all that wanted to participate to enter their favorite picture they took of their car among the rocks in the Garden of the Gods.
The TBN masses were allowed to vote for their favorite of the 19 entries in a blinded poll (boy, did that stir some folks up). Ours and two others recieved the most votes and declared the winners. Roger never revealed the poll results and even listed the winners in the order he received the entry instead of number of votes. Roger is a little sneaky, so I suspect we'll never know if there were any hanging chads or not.
I also had to do some homework after posting this throwback to find out the other two winners. Bob and Gerry Fraser (PCR863) from Vancouver, BC and Cliff and Bonnie Henry from San Antonio, TX were the other winners. Sadly, Bob passed away a few years ago and Gerry sold their PCR sometime afterward. They were super nice folks (aren't all Canadians?), hope Gerry is doing well. Cliff and Bonnie were instrumental in helping plan the Texas Thunder event. It's been awhile since Cliff posted, but he did check in on TBN in July. We miss them and hope they are doing well, also.
All of the pictures of the entries have evaporated over time with site "upgrades". Below you'll see the certificate that came with the poster and the picture that made our car a Garden of the Gods Beauty.
I'm in touch with Frits on facebook. He's doing fine. Spends weekends and holidays walking the hiking paths of Holland, northern Germany and Belgium, even now, with his girl friend, taking lots of photos along the way.
Is anyone keeping in touch with FritsB, and the other European TBNers who were at EuroThunder. I know Frits and Jens came to a couple of our stateside events. And David I think you partnered with him on some car deals. Just curious, I miss their involvement on TBN.
Agree that it would be nice to hear from Frits. Met with him at Thunder Fever. Heck of a good guy.
