With Dot’s hint, my guess on the tshirt is Kevin from Lincoln, NE. (SR-71). Is the guy 2nd from left Joe A?

I don't recognize either of the women next to Sally in the race photo. Julie is not in the race picture. not sure she was there? will check my files again.
Here's a pic of the whole group on our first tour of the event. btw. Jeannie is directly behind Laurie (the one with her back to the camera) in this picture but only a bit of Jeannie's hair shows though she is standing next to DavidA. I took three photos of this scene and none of them show everyone's faces. Julie is not in this photo. (in fact, record checked, no photo record of her nor her car being at the event). update: attached a 2nd photo, might show more faces.
As for my hint from my post of the t-shirt logo, the hint is much stronger than what you actually see.
As for the person next to George in the race photo - It's Charlie (sixpac).Last edited by 5bird7; Dec 20, 2020, 09:01 AM.Limited Edition databases for 007 msg..#26 , PCR sticky, and Cashmere msg.#64

So, David has come to the realization that his girlfriend was on the track (not him), which is correct. Jeannie (not yet Applebaum) was indeed 3rd from the right.
Dizzbe, you are way overthinking the t-shirt thing. Having looked at the original picture under a magnifying glass, I don't remember who the guy was next to George, but I feel sure it was not Charlie and I know Joe Apicella wasn't there.
I can not identify the lady that was 3rd from the left, but I'm sure it was not Julie. The lady between Sally and Lou (5th from the left) was Karen Laird (Mobird). At least 3 pictured - Karen, Sally and Gary - have since passed on to the great beyond.
After searching a little, below is the list of people that were expected to attend, but I do not believe Julie made it (this was before she changed her handle to BorlaBabe). I also do not remember Ken & Mildred being there. Perhaps Dot has photos thst will prove me wrong. Speaking of photos, the method that Dot is using to post photos does not let them show up in the Latest Activity mode, which is very annoying.
The track officials originally told us that only 6 people could go down for the presentation. We stretched that and ended up with 9. There are not any couples in the picture so more cars could be represented.

Not apologizing, Paul. Latest activity seems to be a summery of the original posts. I edited that one several times to add photos. I never use latest activity but always today's Posts.Limited Edition databases for 007 msg..#26 , PCR sticky, and Cashmere msg.#64

Latest Activity puts the last post first and goes backwards chronologically. I still use today's posts to pull up new stuff it'sjust listed latest post first in each thread. Latest Activity does not show all of the stuff under the avatar or the signature. It shows most pictures/thumbnails, but for some reason does not show them when they are posted the way you do it. I guess it's some kind of glitch in the software. Lord knows, it has plenty of them.21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !

It's been awhile ....
This item was given to me by a special person as we were beginning one of our trips a few years ago, so everyone would know who was leading the caravan.
1. Who gave me this badge?
2. Which event(s) were we involved with during the trip?

Just a guess, but Thunder west by Northwest? It had to be after Desert Thunder II after that episode where you actually got mad at us for questioning your directions. That was still a very funny memorable time we still talk about.Unbelivable TBN trips including ALL of the lower 48 States plus 9Canadian Provinces, 8 European Countries, 3 Caribbean Countries, Countless National Parks and have attended well over 100 TBN Events since 2001 and counting. Best of all ... fabulous friends.

This is a tough piece of memorabilia for folks to identify, because it is pretty much a personal thing.
Liz Smith gave me the badge during one of our caravans. Those that were there knew about it, others wouldn't have a clue.
Neither Liz nor myself can 100% remember which event she gave it to me, but we both feel pretty sure it was during the Black Hills caravan or during the Great Plains Thunder travel event immediately following the Black Hills event.
No matter when she gave it to me, it's been a prized piece in my collection ever since.
Thanks, Liz!Last edited by 2K2BIRD; Jan 30, 2021, 04:49 PM.21 years, 174K miles, 48 States X 2 & DC, 9 Canadian provinces, 8 European countries, 3 Caribbean Islands, 3 Hawaiian Islands, 100+ National Park locations, 150+ T-bird events, 190+ retrobird diecasts/models, 13 TOTM pics & some very special friends...THANKS TBN !

We've had a couple of opportunities to pick up these items during our TBN travels. A member of our TBN family works for these guys and has helped set up visits there for us over the years. Both times were during caravans to TBN events.

1. Name the 2 events we were headed to when we stopped for lunch at Bush's Beans?
2. Name our TBN family member that works for Bush's Beans. (Hint: this person's spouse is the person that posts on TBN)
