Haven’t been able to find any of their franchises in New Jersey. Similar outfits abound many with excellent reviews. Today I spotted a second crease. This one is vertical probably someone opened their door into it.

None here either, I use the person the used car lots use.

I know some dealers. Asking them is a good idea.

I agree, ask a local dealer, they probably have a service they use.

The only blemish on my 'bird is a small door ding between the back door edge and the wheel well. One time when I was at the dealer the service they use was there taking dings out of some of their used cars. I showed him the ding and he said no problem. I didn't get it done because he said he would drill a hole in the top of the wheel well (that you can see when the roof is down) to get to the ding. I didn't want any holes drilled. However, that should not be a problem getting to the inside of the door, as pointed out previously.

Birdfan, without seeing where exactly the dent you desire to have removed my first response to your post is that you were told in correct information by someone who is or was not familiar with that area of the car. The backside is accessible if one willing to spend some time removing some interior pieces, the tire to remove the wheel well liners or other part s like the trunk liners.
You were wise to not have it done by drilling any holes.
            Mike

I keep wondering why the author picked those two. Surely there are better more knowledgeable people to talk to.

steelblue: You are correct - I looked in the shop manual about accessing that area and decided all that disassembly was just too much bother for a little dent.

The guy doing the ding removal at the dealer was literally taking just a couple of minutes per ding, which is a painless process when it is easy to get to it.

The good guys now pull the dents out. If they can't do it without drilling holes, find someone else.
