Re: Thunderbird Borla Club Members
Ever since I followed Gobird to the Tow Truck Recovery Museum it has become a quest to get a Borla System. The sound was great. I have price one out at the local Ford Dealer for $1600.0 plus $100.00 - $150.00 for installation. I am checking out other sources for a system now. My wife loved the sound also and stated that it was a must have item, so the tough part is done. Any suggestions where to go for the system?

Richard, I like that color on Mustangs too. I saw one in the showroom and was really impressed. My old, new Durango is Atlantic Blue. Of course for the T-bird it's EB.

WELL COME BACK! YOU'VE BEEN SILENT FOR ABOUT TWO YEARS.
Did you get time off for good behavior?

Re: Thunderbird Borla Club Members
I've had my Borlas on my 2003 for some time now and I love them! This is the way it should have sounded from the factory. Sounds like it has a V8 in it. My Bird is Bright Atlantic Blue, the only one this color. I had it painted. It was white when I got it, it was the only color the dealer had at the time, now it is the same color as the 99 Mustang Cobra Convertible I had. I always get a lot of compliments on it! It also has American Racing Fusion wheels on it as well as Stainless Steel side trim and top trim as well as custom sun visor and headrest covers and wood dash appliques, and a few other touches.

Mango, go with the Borlas. They'll give you a nice sound. You'll love the Borla tips.

Re: Thunderbird Borla Club Members
Just noticed I am not on the list!
Bought our 2005 Med Steel Blue brand new from the dealer in April 2006, (6 miles on the odometer). Before it hit 60, I had already installed the Borlas I got from Julie/BorlaBabe.
Thanks,
Roger

Re: Thunderbird Borla Club Members
Mango, Save yourself a thousand bucks and go to any good muffler shop and have your resinators removed and replaced with a straight piece of pipe or replaced with glass packs. They'll give you the originals and you can always have them reinstalled. You can keep your original tips too. Leroy

Re: Thunderbird Borla Club Members
Finally ready to take the plunge that many of you have already done and add Borlas to my 2005 Tbird. Already see that this is one of the top upgrades and everyone seems really happy with the results. Any suggestions on the least expensive way to buy the Borlas? I read that some TBN discount exists? Where do I find this? What's the part number to purchase for the '05 bird? I also read this is a bit tricky to install on the '05. Think I'm asking for trouble to have my local Ford dealer do this?
