I tried to watch American Idol to see the TBird(s). Man, it was like Castor Oil for your eyes and ears! After about 4 minutes I decided if I needed to see one that bad, I'd just look in my garage.
I agree I watched the first five minutes they I had to change the channel - I just flipped back every five minutes or so to see if I could catch another T-bird - otherwise I would have gone insane actually watching the show!
Can you image the people that are eliminated before they go to the judges - the god awful people we see have already cleared one hurdle! That first round must be awful wishy washy!

I just saw a video on CMT that has what I think is a yellow Thunderbird. What I caught was in black and white, but saw the full interior and was light. Jessica Andrews is driving singing "More to me than you" Several shots as she is driving along. Have a great Super Bowl. Mike
NEW SITING
Janet, Natalie and Shelby are big fans of ALIAS on Sunday night. 1/26/03 the program was delayed due to Super Bowl. I promised I would video tape the program so they could see it later. Half way through, NEW FORD COMMERCIAL..."When did you last check us out?" Images of many Ford products including new Mach I. Images of Red Thunderbird in desert form original Thunderbird spot, and finishes with views of black Thunderbird and ends with close up of porthole window of black hardtop. All on tape, thanks to the girls and Super bowl.

Last night on VH1's "Where Are They Now" series, they were catching up with former ice skaters. Nicole Bobek was on there (American figure skater from the Nagano Olympics) and in one scene she pulls up into her driveway in her 2002 Blue Thunderbird, and then talks about her new beautiful Thunderbird and how it's a "smooth ride." It's maybe 15 seconds of car time, but it was nice nonetheless.
The episode will rerun later today. Here's the info:

UPDATE
1. probably won't see Thunderbird on 24 anymore. The son in law to be was killed off
2. Eva movie download preview is cute, worth a yahoo search "Deliver us from eva"
3. Jessica Andrews country music video is awsome, better than Ford commercial. (see other links on Thunderbird promotions) You can view it with a Yahoo search fro Jessica Andrews, plays regularly on GAC tv network, you can look up schedule on the GAC website
4. Have not seen judges driving Thunderbirds in latest episodes of American Idol. This last group is pretty awesome!
5. I do more than watch TV, just got lucky lately and used internet to zero in on times.

There is a new Ford Ad running that features the entire Ford line including a topless red 2003 T-bird. The cars go by quick, so you have to watch - it is just after the green Focus..... I have not seen it prior to last night, so I am assuming that it is a new ad.....

I've seen a really long "all-Ford" add that includes footage from the early ad with the desert scene and red t-bird with top down. The ad finally ends with a view of a black T-bird's porthole. It's been on a couple of times on the "American Idol" show (have taped it).
Noticed several pictures of the Torch Red T-birds on the wall behind the couch on tonight's Americal Idol show.
