This was not a tv commerical, but last week while I was in a Westlake Hardware store, I saw a display for a floor covering paint. On the box was a picture of a Thunderbird. It looks like a 2002 because I can't see the V8 emblem on the front fender.

Watched "While You Were Out" last night on TLC (The Learning Channel). A football player with the Washington Redskins was re-doing his brothers basement while he was out. When the brother & his wife returned home they drove up in a 02 or 03 white Bird with the soft top up. Most pic's were from the rear so could not see if it had a V8 emblem or not.

New TBird Ad on TV

Spent part of the evening watching the Giants take the Padres this evening, Channel 2 FOX in the SF Bay Area. In roughly the 3rd-4th inning there was an ad for the TBird. A red Bird was cruising throughout the CA countryside. The ad was stressing the ride, true convertible, 20 second change (ragtop down), reasonable cost, etc. Ended up with a pitch that the car had just become more affordable. Not a high power rebate pitch, but nevertheless an implication that the cost to buy was lower. This was a Ford commercial, no dealers mentioned.

I keep my eye-out for more and do a better job reporting.

Frank...sounds like a great commercial for an even greater car...wish I'd seen it.
