May 31, Stanley Cup Playoffs, CBC (Canadian) TV, Hockey Night in Canada. Ford Commercial during pregame show. Celebrating the Centurey sale, features Ford line up including Platinum Thunderbird and finishes with Torch red.

Anyone catch the FOX cartoon "King of the Hill" last night? The art dealer was driving a red 02-04 Thunderbird. They had at least 3 shots with it in them. Once showing the interior which was full red accent including the top of the steering wheel. One time they showed a top frontal view of the car with the top off. Another time the shot was from the left rear angle with the red porthole top on the car.

It was represented quite well in the drawings and there was no mistaking that it was a T-bird.

Don't know if it was the same episode but last night's rerun episode had it in several scenes, too. I got a picture of it in one scene - red and saw it in 2 other scenes. The last scene that it was in, it was thunderbird blue as seen thru the doors of the building they were in. It was parked in front of the doors.

I saw it, too (and we never watch King of the Hill)...yelled to my wife "Hey, you're not gonna believe this!"

This week's MyClassicCar has a segment with Dennis Cage and Sam Memolo talking about battery tenders. They are using a blue T-Bird as an example. I think it's Dennis' personal car.

There's a Ford TV commercial around the NY/NJ/Conn area with Derek Jeter of the Yankees showing off what's supposed to be his house and his "great room". The great room is packed with Ford vehicles (maybe 60 or more?)

Although the commercial pushes the Mustang and Fusion, there is a new red TBird in a few of the frames, and the car's not way in the background, it's right next to a car that he's plugging.

I watched a show the other day, it's a series called Modern Marvels, the episode was called "The Arch". It was about the architectural arch and how it was developed by the Romans and has been used since then in bridges and buildings. About 3/4 of the way through the hour-long show, they showed a bridge that's part of the Pacific Coast Highway. A red retro Thunderbird passes the camera and crosses the bridge.

Just watched The Matchmaker on A&E. The title was Jack and Andrea. When it got to Andrea's date it was a guy named Joe, they said he was 58 going on 30 (in a good way). As he drove up in a tbird (pcr I think) the monalog said Joe drives a fast car & it reved up to the curb for the date. Joe was a sweetheart and very respectful to his date. When he took her outside she saw the car and gave out an excited yelp and when they drove off you could hear her hoot. Pretty cute.

The show is filmed in Buffalo - Joe -you need to join us!

The show is on my DVR selection via comcast in case anyone else has it.

Last night watching the Saprano's and Chris's girl friend had a Bird. It was a night shot but it looks tobe Teal with out the top.

Last weekend I parked next to a 2002 Blue Bird. Talked to the woman who owns it and she claims it was used in the Sopranos before she purchased it in Kearny, NJ. After she bought it the show wanted to use the same car for consistency and borrowed it again.

I told her about this and Dot's site. So hopefully she will sign-on.

Christopher's girlfriend Adrianna had it. It got parked at an airport long-term lot when Adrianna got whacked for talking to the feds. '02 Thunderbird blue.

Just now saw a Inspiration Yellow Hardtop on NCIS, got a brief look at the interior, had a Yellow Accent, look was to fast to see if it was a full or partial. Was a scene in a car was, episode is called "Bikini Wax"

Just watched an episide of THE RELIC HUNTER on SciFi channel and seen a toy pink 55, 56, or 57 Tbird on Claudia the secretaries desk.

Not sure if this sighting has been spotted before.

I should of been more descriptive maybe. It was larger like the maisto or Beanstalk size. Not matchbox size anyways. I don't know too much about the different sizes but it looked about 6-8" in the show on the desk.

well, not Matchbox then. Probably on of those "Superior models" Will have to see when the Relic Hunter was filmed.
