We get a retro tv channel here called "Antenna TV" that airs reruns of "Hazel" when I'm home eating lunch.

Ford was a big sponsor and it seems like I see at least one TBird a week. Saw a white '65 model today, and a beautiful black '64 a few weeks ago.

Anyone else watch the Hallmark HOF movie on ABC last night? (1/27).
There was a 2004 Merlot w/sand interior, top down, parked at the brewery when Elliott went to apply for the sales job.

Paul Drake only drove t-birds in the Perry Mason series.

Just doing a little "better later than never" review of this thread. Interestingly enough, there was a young man at a car show last summer who lives in the area where I do who owns and brought to the show the 1962 Bird that Paul Drake drove in the Perry Mason Show. He has a documented paper trail of it's authenticity, including the bill of sale from Ford to the studio that produced the show. He has some interesting photos taken on the TV set that included the car and cast members. We get reruns of Perry Mason locally in our area on a retro TV channel and it is interesting to see this car in the episodes filmed in the '62 season.

I always thought Paul Drake drove Thunderbirds too, but he drives a mid-60's Corvette convertible in the 1965 episodes.

I did see this Randy! About 5 seconds of footage. I have seen a few misc. birds on the TV, but this was the first Merlot/Sand I have seen.

There was a short chase scene in the first 4 minutes of Tuesday night's episode of "Vegas" involving a stolen black '57 with porthole top.

Last night on History chanel, "counting Cars " , as they were looking at a chevelle SS they had just chased down, when panning the car on a side street , in the background was what looked like an '02 thunderbird blue with hard top on.

Thank you Jim. I can identify 50s era Chevys by sight but still working on the Tbirds. One of these days I would like to find a sad white bird that needs a fix up and paint it that color pink, gorgeous
