As far as happy....we are the happiest bunch of people out there.

    Why?

Because we have THUNDERIBRDS, of various colors....

All Thunderbirds are special and unique just like their drivers. I am partial to cashmere because I own one but that doesn't make it better than anybody else.

I just saw an 007 in Jonesboro, AR wearing a dealer tag. I'll try to track it down if anybody's interested.

Since I live Half Moon Bay, CA aka PUMPKIN Capital of the USA, I should get the PUMPKIN colored car, aka 007 Coral.

Thank you, Roger. Once again...thank you.

It's not that your car is so special that it gets the dander up on other T-Bird people -- it's YOU and the way you say things!.

Thanks Bruce, my first car was 1968 Mustang, 289 3 speed. Loved that car. Truth be told...one of the fastest cars in the High School. My dad made sure of that. And that's the truth!

Funny thing about truth...there is usually THREE SIDES or THREE VERSIONS of TRUTH.
                1. Mine
                2. Yours. Or in this case, the guy that *really* had the fastest car, note the disclaimer.."one of..." lol
                3. Gods.

Maybe it's time I buy another car... Ian needs a new one. He'd love that..... lol

Thanks for the referral. I just got off the phone with Bill Jenkins, He saved me over 50 percent for the new wheel. I will never take bank drive-throughs for credit ever again. In fact, I might just use snail mail rather than try to navigate the narrow aisles! That is what I get for never driving the bird. Where are you from in Texas...Cindy Miles

The reason that many of you don't think TORCH RED is as special as it is...is because we are usually zooming right by you! We're the blurr you see out of the corner of your eye, the blurr that leaves you saying..."what was that?! A Bird? A plane?"
You were right the first time. It's a bird alrighty...a

Thought i might weigh in here on color. Actually i'm still trying to figure out what color i have. Some days it looks silver grey and other days its greenish. Anyway, color is not a biggy for me...i actually like what Ford did with the special color angle in that you dont see a lot of the same birds out there because the colors are so spread out.

It's obvious that "ordered" colors are up to the individual. One could conclude, the rarer the color, the least interest.
That is, the more interest, the more cars would have been ordered in any specific color. Correct or incorrect?
As far as "special" T-Birds, it's obvious the 007 has some "features" that other T-Birds do not. Like it or not. It also appears as though there's some animosity among owners that don't have the 007. All one has to do is read replies. :o)
As you know, the 007 has the following:
                          Special color
                          Limited Edition numbers
                          Special 21" spoke chrome wheels
                          Aluminum trim on the interior
                          All white upholstery
                          White removable hard top
                          What have I left out?
Also, a last note. I never said I thought this car was "special." I'm the one that's still learning.
However, from what I've gathered, it's special enough to get the dander up on other T-Bird enthusiasts.
                          That I don't understand.
One would think Members would be "happy" for others? Regardless of which T-Bird they had.

That would be 17 inch chrome wheels according to Bill Jenkins (Bill Jenkins
Team Ford of Las Vegas), I just had to order one....Cindy

Charles 007 is just pulling your leg. He likes red Thunderbirds the most. He liked mine so much he was testing products on my fender. I wish I had seen him as I would have enjoyed his technique. Avoid getting sucked in, he loves it.
