Re: Pictures of our 60 Bird
We had the motor rebuilt on the 60 four years ago, but it needed to have some cleaning and detailing. I stripped the paint on the valve covers, repainted the block and put new hoses and vacuum lines on, rebuilt the carb. Now it looks just like it did when my father bought it! I am going out tonight to my garage for some more work, I will post a few pictures on Friday.sigpic

Great lookin' '60 Thunderbird! The soft top looks super too, but I may be biased.

Welcome, Tom. I see that your Dad got you to join, too. Didn't know you both had the same name so it gave me a start to see two Toms posting.

Re: Pictures of our 60 Bird
Beautiful T-Bird! I had a '61 that I owned, all white with Blk/Wht interior, and I still kind of miss that old tug boat! Of course it was the full size T-Bird, but it drew a lot of questions and praises from everyone who looked at it. I kept it in pristine condition at the time I had it. I put it in the category of a long-lost girlfriend, gone, but not forgotten!Originally posted by Toms60Goldbird View PostIn this picture you can see my yellow bird in the background, I bought it new and it has 11k miles. It has the yellow top with the two tone black and yellow interior, my pretty wife looks great in it!
